Biography
Kaveh Raissi is an Iranian contemporary artist based in Milan. Holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano (2019), Raissi developed a spatial and structural approach to form that continues to inform all aspects of his practice.
Working at the intersection of painting and spatial perception, his work engages geometric abstraction as a method rather than a style. Line, plane, and elemental form are deployed not as representational signs, but as active structures that generate tension, rhythm, and spatial depth within the pictorial field.
Light functions as an active component of the work, altering perceptual conditions through its interaction with material, surface, and form. His practice also extends into spatial construction, where structure is explored not only as an image, but as an experiential condition of space itself.
His work is defined by a continuous negotiation between control and instability, order and the unpredictable behavior of matter.
